STS (Europe) is partnering with NORI HR to deliver an insightful webinar, based on the latest changes to the IR35 employment status legislation. We will be exploring the link between IR35 and employment law and the importance of not breaching the Corporate Criminal Offence.
STS (Europe) will provide an update on HMRC’s Corporate Criminal Offence, which will include the background to the creation of the legislation and HMRC’s view on non-compliance with the law.
We will then follow up with a discussion surrounding the interaction between IR35 and the Corporate Criminal Offence, as well as how to create a robust defence against prosecution.
This will be accompanied by an overview, provided by NORI HR, on how IR35 impacts the employment status of an individual and try and cut through much of the confusion around self-employed individuals, workers and employees. Recent high profile cases such as Eamonn Holmes, Lorraine Kelly and Uber will be discussed as well as the stance being taken by certain industry bodies such as the SIA (Security Industry Authority).
