The fourth Self-Employment Income Support Scheme grant, which opened for claims in mid-April, covers 80% of three months’ average trading profits from 1 February 2021 to 30 April 2021. The grant will be capped at £7,500.
Claims for the fourth SEISS grant must be made on or before 1 June 2021.
To make a claim, self-employed workers will need:
- Self-Assessment Unique Taxpayer Reference (UTR)
- National Insurance number
- UK bank details – account number, sort code, name and address linked to the account
- Government Gateway user ID and password
Claims can be made via the government website, providing the eligibility criteria has been met.
There will be a fifth and final SEISS grant worth 80% of three months’ average trading profits, capped at £7,500 for those workers with a reduced turnover of 30% or more. Those workers with a turnover reduction of less than 30%, will receive 30% of three months’ average trading profits, capped at £2,850.
